In addition, private taxi cabs or shuttles are available at the airport as well as rental cars. Passport and visa requirementsAll overseas visitors are required to have a valid passport for the duration of stay in Chile, and with the exception of delegates from visa-free countries, attendees are required to have the appropriate visa. In the simplest case, foreigners that enter the country with a valid passport will be granted a tourist visa which will last for 90 days. Depending on the nationality of the attendee, the tourist visa may cost a fee. For more information, it is recommended to view the following website which also contains a link to a spreadsheet regarding the tourist visa and any related cost depending on the nationality: More information here
Visas may also be obtained before departure from offices of the Chilean Embassy or Consulate in the attendee’s home country.
